Norske forskere i IPCC-arbeidsgrupper

17.01.13 19 forskere og eksperter fra Norge er valgt som medlemmer av forfatterteamene for FNs klimapanels femte hovedrapport. Forskerne representerer institusjoner i Tromsø, Trondheim, Bergen, Oslo og Ås. I tillegg til disse, deltar minst 20 andre norske forskere og eksperter som bidragsytere til rapportene.

Tre ulike roller:

  • Coordinating Lead Author: Koordinerer og leder arbeidet med et kapittel.
  • Lead Author: Skriver et kapittel sammen med de andre forfatterne for dette kapittelet.
  • Review Editor: Har ansvar for å føre tilsyn med høringsprosessen og endringer som gjøres som følge av denne.
  • Forfatterteamet vil senere også knytte til seg en rekke bidragsyter – Contributing Authors – som gir innspill til rapporten. 
  • I tillegg vil et stort antall forskere og eksperter delta ved å gi kommentarer i høringsrundene.
