Annual control fee for chemical products declared to the Norwegian Product Register in 2009

03.05.10 Deadline for paying annual control fee for chemical products declared in 2009 is 01 June 2010.

  • For products for which the declaration is mandatory to the Norwegian Product Register, an annual control fee has to be paid, Cf. Regulations relating to Classification, Labeling, etc of Dangerous Chemicals, Chapter VI(Sections 23-26)
  • The Climate and Pollution Agency is authorized to collect the fees.
  • The foreign companies have an obligation to pay the fee if they declare products to the Norwegian Product Register. The other alternative is that their Norwegian customers declare the products.
