The Product Control Act
19.04.04 The purpose of the Product Control Act is to prevent products from causing damage to health or disturbances of the environment in the form of disturbances of ecosystems, pollution, waste, noise or the like. A further purpose of the Act is to prevent consumer services from causing damage to health.
This Act applies to the production, including testing, import, marketing, use and other handling of products. The Act also applies to consumer services.
