This report summarise the results from a review of the existing calculation methodologies and factors used to calculate annual loads to air, water and soil from products, based on annual consumption of hazardous substances in products. Recommended methodology and factors based on this review are presented per hazardous substance. The basis for these recommendations are thoroughly discussed per hazardous substance (Annex in Norwegian only). This report presents a methodology for calculating environmental loads of Arsenic (As), Chromium (Cr), Copper (Cu) and PAH from use of preserved wood throughout its lifetime.
