What risks are associated with the alternatives?
Once you have identified alternatives, you need to answer these questions:

What are the advantages and disadvantages of the
alternatives?
•
What is likely to happen if the product is replaced
with one of the
alternatives?
Consider each of the alternatives you identified in step 3 in the same way as
described in step 1. You must complete a risk assessment for each of the
alternatives in the same way as you did for the product you wish to replace.
